The Richmond County Medical Society has been serving the community of Staten Island for the past 200 years. Included as members are physicians of major hospitals, medical centers, medical groups, and private practices on Staten Island. This society is an integral part of The Federation of Organized Medicine.

The Federation of Organized Medicine consists of three components:
  1. Local - The Richmond County Medical Society
  2. State - Medical Society of the State of New York
  3. National - American Medical Association

All three components continuously strive to influence appropriate legislative bodies to pass (or reject) bills which impact on health issues. The aim of this activity is to enhance the delivery of medical care, of the highest quality, to all of the people in the most economical manner.

  • Nominee must be a resident of Westchester County.
